St. Petersburg and Veliky Novgorod 7 days in the summer
This combined tour will allow you to see different aspects of Russia. Russia’s most European city, St. Petersburg with its splendid palaces, stately cathedrals and dynamic rhythm of life and also Veliky Novgorod. Here you will immerse in an absolutely different atmosphere whilst being able to catch a glimpse of Ancient Rus, its medieval churches, lovely streets and wooden chapels. The advantages of this trip in the summer include walking tours, boating and visits to spectacular gardens.
Unusual walking tour, during this walk your guide will teach you to read Russian. You’ll get to know the basics of the Russian language whilst also having a chance to explore the most important sights of the city such as Nevsky Prospect.
You will take a stroll to the most charming places of the city: alongside the granite embankments, through the Millionnaya Street past old palaces and the house of the Great Russian poet, Pushkin.
Tour to Peterhof, the former imperial residence, located on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland (one of Seven Wonders of Russia). You will see the gorgeous palace, the large and charming park, the lower and upper gardens and over 100 impressive fountains (the most famous ensemble of fountains is the Grand Cascade).
Departure from St. Petersburg to V. Novgorod. A guided city tour including a visit to the ‘Vitoslavlitsi’, the museum of wooden architecture and The St. George's (Yuriev) Monastery.

A guided tour of the Novgorod Kremlin. You will see:
- The Cathedral of St. Sophia, the first Russian stone construction
- The monument to the thousand years of Russia
- The State Novgorod Museum-Reservation and a few of remarkable churches
You will visit the Varlaamo-Khutynsk Convent, located within 11 kilometers from the city in a picturesque place. Surrounded by nature’s beauty, the convent ensemble is a gorgeous monument of architecture of 16th century.
You will visit the displays of iconography. You will admire the masterpieces of different centuries such as the two meters high icon of St. Peter and Paul of 11th century.
You will visit the palace that has been storing the arts and crafts collection of 11-19th centuries. Many historic events took place in the palace, there were many noble guests and ambassadors.
