A luxurious 8-day cruise aboard the MS Mstislav Rostropovich along two great Russian rivers, the Volga and Neva. You will see the real Russia, get acquainted with its fascinating history, and see two capitals, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Discover the Russian capital during a city bus tour. You will see the most important monuments of this bustling metropolis:
- Tverskaya Street, one of the main shopping streets in Moscow
- Novodevichy Convent
- KGB building (exterior visit only)
- Red Square, a symbol of Moscow, (free time), and GUM department stores
- Cathedral of Christ the Saviour (exterior visit only)
Return and night on board.
Visit of the Kremlin, which used to be a fortress, a city within a city. It is also the symbol of power and authority, because the president’s residence is located right here. In addition to the Kremlin, a visit to one of the cathedrals located on Kremlin territory.
Return on board and departure to Uglich.

Stop in Kizhi, the pearl of Karelia.
Here’s what you’ll see when visiting Kizhi Island:
- Museum of Wooden Architecture
- Church of the Transfiguration (exterior visit only)

- Visit to a Russian “izba”, a traditional Russian home built of wood and decorated with many sculptures.
Return and departure to Mandrogi.

Arrival in Mandrogi, a former fishing village of the Veps people, located on the left bank of the Svir River, which connects Lake Ladoga and Lake Onega.
Free time in Mandrogi, some quality time to enjoy its beautiful nature.
Outdoor barbecue (weather permitting).
Return on board and departure to St. Petersburg.

- Tauride Palace and Winter Palace
Walking tour of the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Peter and Paul Cathedral, and the burial place of the Romanov family.
Excursion to the Hermitage, one of the richest museums in the world, equaling the Paris Louvre.
