Day 1
Arrival and first acquaintance with the capital of Kyrgyzstan

Flight to Bishkek. Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel

Sightseeing tour of the city with visits to:

  • The Victory Square, the Oak Park with the stone sculptures
  • The Manas and Ala-Too Square
  • The Museum of History where you will learn about the origin of the country
  • The Osh Bazaar, one of the largest markets in the city

Day 2
The Suusamyr Valley and the Toktogul Dam

Departure to the city of Toktogul, the center of Jalal-Abad region, known for its large water reservoir

Crossing the Too Ashuu mountain pass (3180 m) and the picturesque Suusamyr Valley with green pastures and nomadic yurts

In Toktogul you can enjoy a pleasant walk along the shore of the lake, surrounded by mountains. This is a real paradise for nature and hiking lovers

Day 3
The Sary-Chelek Mountain Lake

Departure to Sary-Chelek Lake, located at a height of 1800 meters and to the nature reserve, one of the most beautiful places in the country

You will enjoy a pleasant walk in the vicinity of the Alpine lake with amazing views in the heart of untouched nature

Day 4
A trip to the largest walnut forest

Departure to Arslanbob, a typical Kyrgyz village with one of the largest forests in the world

Day 5

The Kyrgyz Fergana Valley

Departure to the village of Kazarman through Jalal-Abad

Located in the Fergana Valley on the border with Uzbekistan, Jalal-Abad is an ancient settlement of the Silk Road

Lunch at a local restaurant in Jalal-Abad

Arrival at Kazarman, a small village at a height of 1310 m, guest house accommodation

Day 7
Song-Kol, the pearl of Kyrgyzstan

Departure to the Lake of Song-Kol (Song Köl), located at an altitude of 3,000 meters in the middle of the Tian Shan mountain range, meaning 'heavenly/celestial mountains'

Crossing the Kalmak-Ashuu Pass and descending to the shore of the lake

Meeting with a nomad family and accommodation in a yurt

Make acquaintance with the nomadic life, customs and traditions of the locale

Day 8
Following the footsteps of the Silk Road

Morning departure to Tash Rabat, which means 'stone fortress' in Kyrgyz, through the Moldo-Ashuu Pass (3400 m)

A visit to Tash Rabat, an ancient caravanserai of the 15th century which served as a stopover for merchants and travelers of the Silk Road

Day 9
Kochkor folk crafts

Departure to the village of Kochkor, a high mountain settlement with a calm and friendly atmosphere

Arrival at the village and visit to a family-owned enterprise specialising in the manufacturing of handmade felt

Day 10
The foundations of Kyrgyz customs and traditions

Departure to the village of Tamga, located on the southern shore of the Issyk-Kul Lake

On the way stop in the village of Kyzyl-Too to meet with a local family and learn the secrets of yurt production

A stop in the village of Bokonbaevo, where you will visit the family of an eagle hunter and his bird of prey

Continuation on the route through the 'Fairy Tale' canyon with its rocks of different forms and colours of red, ochre and yellow

Day 11
'Valley of the Seven Bulls' and the city of Karakol

Departure to the city of Karakol, capital of Issyk-Kul region, through the valley of Jeti-Oguz or in Kyrgyz language, the 'Valley of the Seven Bulls'

The Jety-Oguz Valley with its waterfalls, spectacular gorges and red rocks.The most famous of which are the 'Broken heart' and the 'Seven Bulls' which is one of the most beautiful places in the country

Arrival in Karakol, you will visit the Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, built in the late 19th century, and the Dungan mosque, built without a single nail in the style of a Chinese Buddhist temple

In the evening you will enjoy a national Dungan dish called Ashlan-Fu made from noodles, vegetables and eggs

Day 12
Issyk-Kul, the Hot Lake

The trip to Grigoriev and Semenov gorges, a magnificent place with rapid rivers, winding paths and slopes covered with pine forests

You will enjoy a walk in the heart of the desert and a picnic on the shore of a mountain lake (weather permitting)

Departure to Cholpon-Ata city and resort, located on the Northern shore of the Issyk-Kul Lake

In Cholpon-Ata you will visit the cultural center 'Rukh Ordo', where chapels dedicated to various religious denominations (Islam, Catholicism, Orthodoxy, Judaism, Buddhism) are situated

Free time, a great opportunity to take a swim in the Issyk-Kul Lake

Due to its climate and the beauty of the surrounding landscapes, Issyk-Kul, which in Kyrgyz means a 'hot lake', is one of the favorite places for travelers

Day 13
Return to Bishkek

Acquaintance with the medieval city of Balasagun, that in the 9th-10th centuries used to be the capital of the Karakhanids State. Visit of the Burana Tower (9 cent.), the minaret with ancient graves and funerary monuments (also called 'balbals')

Arrival in Bishkek and visit to a local market where you'll have an opportunity to do some shopping before leaving

The Ala-Archa National Park

Day dedicated to a trip to the Ala-Archa National Park, located in the Tian Shan Mountains, forty kilometers south of Bishkek

On the weekend the Alpine Ala-Archa Park. Meaning 'colorful juniper’, is a popular destination for locals and those enjoying walking

A pleasant stroll to the Ak Say waterfall with the extremely beautiful landscapes followed by an outdoor picnic

Farewell dinner in the Bishkek restaurant and night at the hotel
