The Catherine Palace at Tsarskoe Selo tour

Description:
Catherine’s Palace, built by the architect Rastrelli, is another wonderful example of flamboyant Baroque style. The former residence of the imperial family, with a facade of more than 300 meters long, demonstrates the majesty and power of the Russian state. The palace is famous for its ballroom and Amber Room that was stolen by the Nazis during the Second World War. After visiting the palace, you’ll have an opportunity to stroll along Catherine's Park where small pavilions are located along the lake.
The gardens of the 18-19th centuries, with an area of 200 hectares, are as exquisite as the interiors of the palace. Built at the intersection of French and English fashion, this park has a large number of pavilions and architectural structures that harmonically work with the serene nature landscape that surrounds it. You will truly enjoy this walk and the magnificent view of the castle’s facade that can be seen from every corner.
